The first mope

Long ago, Yamagushka created the first mope on Earth. This first mope eventually became known as the Devil Mope, although it did not begin that way. Initially, it was simply a very lazy mope-like creature. However, it possessed a unique ability: whenever it was required to do something—such as obtaining food or responding to requests—it would become overwhelmed by its own laziness and internal distress. This would cause it to essentially “freak out” internally and split into two separate mopes. In this way, additional mopes came into existence. Gume Gumeha is considered an exception to this origin.
